Quick Update

Hello everyone,

I got all of my sermons preached to date scheduled to be posted throughout the month.  Christmas sermons will be a little later in the month but please listen as they hit many areas not directly related to Christmas. I hope you all have a blessed 2017!

Just Another Monday

Hello my dear friends and family. So good to finally be able to sit down for a little bit and get my blog all caught up. Thanksgiving was a wonderful time to just spend some quality time with the family and to just relax and enjoy the decorations that were hung the day before Thanksgiving. I am so blessed in life and God has been so good to me and my family. I am blessed to have another year where I can still walk, although it is still with a cane or a walker. I am blessed to have a roof over my head, food on my table, clean air to breathe. Every day throughout the year, we must thank God for the simple things of life.

I am going to be posting several sermons to my blog this week. The ones from November 2nd were preached as the pastor was on vacation. Others come from my recent series “The Most Misinterpreted Scriptures of the Bible.” Please listen to them and feel free to leave your comments in the post. I hope they bless you but also convict you as much as they did me as I went back and listened to them.

Now we are in the advent season, we must remember that this is a joyful, quiet season of the year. It is a time to reflect on the fact that Christ once came as a Servant in a manger but also will one day come back as the conquering King. It’s a time to prepare our heart to celebrate the birth of Christ at Christmas. May we silence our hearts in the midst of all the hustle and bustle of the season so that we can celebrate Christmas unlike ever before!

Hope you all well. If you have a prayer need, feel free to leave it in the comment of this post or email it to me at revcawells@gmail.com.

Blessings in Christ,
Pastor Charles
